Justin Parks is a director of business development at Rust Consulting. Parks consults with clients in Rust’s labor and employment practice area, assisting in developing strategies to ensure Rust meets the goals of settlement administration. He also works with private sector clients to prepare for and manage urgent communication scenarios arising from data breaches and product recalls. Parks has an in-depth knowledge of the firm and is committed to the development of lasting client relationships.
As a project manager in Rust’s labor and employment practice area from when he joined Rust in 2007 until transitioning into sales in 2012, Parks was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the administration of approximately 100 settlements involving wage-and-hour, FLSA, ERISA, discrimination, and other allegations. Among the settlements overseen by Parks were the Home Depot Employment Cases, which involved five putative class action lawsuits (Artiaga v. Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., Ferguson v. Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., Mailly v. Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., Bommarito v. Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., and Carvalho v. Home Depot U.S.A., Inc.) included in a single coordinated proceeding. Notices were mailed to over 210,000 class members and over $16 million in settlement awards payments issued to eligible class members.
Before joining Rust, Parks worked as an account executive with a major financial institution, where he oversaw all facets of consumer lending and account management.
